How Automate a Window Calculator in Blue Prism
Today I am gonna explain how to automate a window calculator in a Blue Prism using the Accessibility Mode. In this tutorial, we will use window calculator in scientific mode and will find the square root of 10 then we will save the result in a notepad application.
Step 1. Open the Application Modeller in Blue Prism Object Studio
Step 2. Spy the outer part of Calculator as shown in below image.
Step 3. Spy the X2 Button.
Step 4. Spy the Result Area as show in below Image.
Step 5. Drag and drop a Navigate stage and attach the Calculator.
Step 6. Drag and drop a Navigate stage and pass global send keys using hard-coded value 1 and 2 as shown below image.
Step 7. Drag and drop a Navigate stage and pass the X2 element.
Step 8. Drag and drop a read stage and and read the result as shown below image.
Publish the Object and save it.
Open the Process Studio in Blue Prism and follow the below steps.
- Drag and Drop the Action Stage and select the published object
- Select the Action of the published object.
- Drag and Drop the Action Stage and select the Utility-File Management object.
- Select the Write Text file Action, pass the text file path, and pass result variable in the Text parameter.
